My glasses prescription is -.25 -50 x90 and -.50 sph, which I know is low. When should I be wearing them??

Question: I have had them for about 2 months and have been wearing them for watching tv, driving, and working on the computer, but lately I have been getting headaches when I am not wearing them. I know that my prescription is low, but should I be wearing them all the time? Would it make sense for me to wear them all the time with such a low prescription?

Thanks!!
Answers: You can wear your glasses as you feel it is necessary. If you feel more comfortable wearing your glasses then wear them as much as you like. Whether you wear them or not will not change your vision! You are probably experiencing headaches because you become accustomed to seeing better and your eyes are straining when you take them off.... It’s really up to you how you wear your glasses!!!! I have a very low prescription as well and I only wear my glasses once in awhile!! My best advice to you is just do whatever is comfortable for you since your prescription is so low :)
mine is similar -.25 -.75 adn i cant think of the axis, i wear mine all the time, i got them for driving, but found myslef jsut wearing them all the time.
Yes, your RX is mild, but your brain might like seeing well, so it is arguing with you adn your eyes are straining to see what it wants to see. There is nothing wrong with wearing them full time. Call your doctor's office and ask!
