I have horrible eye sight. is contact lenses make it better or worse??
Question: i start wearing glasses when i was like 8. Each year my eye increases like 100 degrees and now it is like 7.0 (700 degrees far-sighted). I hate to wear them in summer. Is contact lenses making my eye worse or better? but doctor prefer me to get it when i am 16..which i need like 2 more years. i notice eye exercise may help but i never try. Actually, my eyes are really weak. They hurt when they see bright lights, and when i have stress from schoolwork...they add even more degrees. SO i don't know what i should do. Please help!

contacts are not much different than glasses. you eye sight will be the same if you where looking through glasses or contacts. contacts will be a little better because you will have more peripheral vision. contacts are cheaper too. ive been wearing them since 8th grade with no problems.
try them and if you like them they will be good.

Contact lenses have their pros and cons. I used contact lenses about a year or so ago. I dont have that bad of eye sight, I'm near sited. I would try contacts. I believe they have 30 day trials on them now. If you'd like to try them, try them and see what happens.
They're a little more work than glasses, you have to keep your eyes hydrated and you have to figure out how to put them in without any trouble but they show you!
