What might i have??
Question: For over a year once and a while my vision has faded in and out when i walk or stand up for a brief couple seconds i cannot see anything when this happens. It has not happened for a while but recently it has been happening often my eye socket hurts afterward for about 5 minutes or so.
I am only 15 and I do have an astigmatism but i do not think that has a relation to what this is.
Answers: go to your eye doctor tell him . are asian ? any one in family had eye problems ?
Go to an eye DOCTOR. (ophthalmologist)
Your problem may have nothing to do with your eyes. See an internal medicine doctor.
Go to the eye doctor, its easy and fast, and if she says your fine, then go to your primary. I hate doctors as much as the next person but when your health is at risk you gotta do what yah gotta do :)
best of luck.
hi
if u are having a priscription for spects and if the optometrist, ophthalmologist or the optician has told u or advised u to wear it continously, u MUST wear it continously.
u have options, if u cant wear spects continously then u should go for conact lenses. but not wearing priscribed power results in straining eyes for seeing distant objects and that can lead to serious vision related problem in future if u continue like that.
imagine now ur vision is 100% and u r priscribed for a normal spectacle power, if u ignore it and dont wear it, ur spectacle power may or may not increase but ur vision
(ability to see objects from a certain distance like a normal eye) decreases gradually day by day. believe me i have seen cases like that as i am an optometrist.
so take my advice and start using ur glasses/contacts regularly also
1 get an eye check up every year regularly to maintain ur vision
2 eat healthy food full of nutrients and vitamin A, which is available in carrots, green veggies, milk, fishes etc
3 do regular exercises like yoga(prayanama, sarwangasana etc)
any more advices u need u can contact me on kothari_jay55@yahoo.com
You should make an appointment with your family doctor first.
