Just recently I've been having a very "Twitchy" left eye - should I be worried??

Question: I think it is the nerve in corner of my eye and I know it probably doesn't look like much but from where I am I feel as though I'm involuntary winking at people!!

Is it stress related (I seem to get it more often when I'm under pressure)? Or do you think I'm lacking in some sort of vitamins? Or am I just being a hyprocondriact?!
Answers: I've been told it can be stress related. Pop in to an Optometrist if its bothering you. Eye masks and learning to relax will help! Treat yourself to some time off from whats happening around you - it will be worth it.

I wouldn't be. It is probably a habit you just picked up.
OH NO! IT'S THE EYE INFECTION THAT MAKES YOUR HEAD EXPLODE!!
Yes, it's the first sign that you're turning into Prof. Madeye Moody.
could be tiredness or stress. if it continues might be worth checking it out at the doctors or opticians
I wouldnt be worry or concern about the eye, you might be right now in a estress full situation that is causen that twitch , I had one of those when I was underpressure, but it stoped
Sometimes my eye twitches like that right before I get a bad cold. If it persists, see your doctor.

its tiedness in the muscle
I've had that happen for ages, although its irritating, honestly, nobody can see it even though it feels major to you, LOL, but theres not too much to do about it; I do find it definitely worsens when you are stressed.
It's just a trapped nerve - I get it when I am tired. I also get it in my thumb sometimes and it moves slightly on it's own - after working my way through various serious conditions in my mind such as ME, MS, Parkinson's I have come to the conclusion that it's a trapped nerve again!!
its because you are extremely tired get some rest - i'd give it about a week to recover
Relax it a little bit of stress it will pass if you orget about it
normally caused by stress or nerves
I get a twitch in my right eye when I am tired so I just give it a rest. Being stressed out may cause it too. If you are really concerned then check with your optometrist to find out the cause and cure.
Stress and lack of sleep will do it every time. Vitamins help, eating well and drinking water help. Sleep is a big one, and so is letting the stress go with excercise. There ya go!
Try this:

- cut down on your caffeine intake
- cut down / quit smoking/ nicotene
- try to get more sleep

All of the above should help 'calm your nerves' so to say and may relieve the intensity and/or frequency of your symptoms. Also if you're someone who stresses a lot, that could be contribusting too.

Easier said than done, but relaxation will be useful!

If these measures do not help then you may be looking at something called 'Myoclonus' which may prompt your doctor to run a few tests, though most people with Myoclonus do not have a 'disease' and need no treatment.
Nothing serious. Your body is only telling you that you have a LACK OF MAGNESIUM. Magnesium is an important nutrient that helps regulate muscle activities. Now its not serious, but take a multivitamin with lots of magnesium. It can't help, but it should relieve the twitch. Try to avoid beaches and swimming until you take some magnesium. You will be more prone to muscle spasms and when swimming it may become life threatening. Everyone says it is stress related, but 90% of the time your body is starved of magnesium.
its called myokymia. your eye twitches. usually due to lack of sleep, too much caffeine, and too much stress. it can last a long time or for a very short time. its not a real medical condition and there is no real cure for it expect get more sleep lay off the caffeine and reduce the stress in your life.
