Glasses or Contacts??
Question: Which do you prefer and why?
Answers: If you wear contacts, you should always have back up glasses that you would wear out in public.
You can't wear the contacts every waking hour. Also, if you ever have an eye problem your doctor may tell you not to wear your contacts until the problem resolves.
I'm surprised by how many nicely attired people will pull out honkin' big, thick lenses, ugly frames glasses that they have as back up glasses because they never bothered with (or couldn't afford) thinner lenses, anti-glare coating, and nice frames. Not surprisingly, these people usually make their eye condition worse before it gets better, because they won't restrict wearing time as suggested.
Anyway, when I wore prescription, I always preferred contacts to glasses. There was no rim to see around, contacts don't slip down your nose, or detract away from an outfit, or steam up in a warm room after being out in the cold . . but after some years, my eyes became too dry to wear contacts comfortably.
Then I got LASIK.
well it depends what your more comfortable with it you like glasses then keep them but if you want a new look get the contacs
I prefer contacts much more then glasses. Once contacts are put in your eyes, you can forget about them for the rest of the day. When I had glasses I was constantly pushing them up to rest on my nose properly, and they had a tendency to make me dizzy.
I prefer my contact lenses, but i see better with contacts, that is why i prefer my contacts , another reason i prefer my contacts is, my glasses are so think.
I prefer contacts, because it's better(you get more flexabilly)
they come in Night time, ones you JUST have to wear at night and you can see without them in the day and contacts are just better.
Glasses are
Big and bulky
good as a 2nd pair (so if you lose the contacts, you just have to put it on.)
great for at home.
Such an easy question, of course contacts are better. They are comfortable, you don't even know you're wearing them, they don't fog up, you don't have to wipe them off when it's raining, you can have perfect vision in the shower or in a swimming pool, they won't break when you're doing anything physical like sports, etc.
Im 14 and i have contacts they are the best i swear
i use acuvue oasys contacts and prefer the comfort and sharpness of vision and convenience of them over glasses.
i abhor having to constantly adjust my glasses due to sweating outside or oily skin in general. i also abhor the smudges and tiny scratches and random debris that constantly set up residence on glasses lenses' like flies to cow ****, and i hate not being able to see clearly out of the corners of my eyes. i also hate when they fog up as i raise a cup of coffee or tea to my lips.
i used to hate not being able to fall asleep in my contacts without first getting up and taking them out, waking me up in the process so that i may or may not be able to lie back down and sleep, but now with these oasys lenses i can sleep in them and wake up without them sticking to my eyes like my old acuvue 2's. i do prefer to rewet them with some rewetting drops when i wake up though. the downside also is that even though they are 2 week lenses like my old ones, if you sleep in them often they go down to 6 days - i usually get a few extra days out of my lenses anyway
I prefer glasses because there are different styles and contacs are uncomfortable to me.
contacts.. 100%
Well. I prefere the lasik surgery to correct my vision..
But I prefered contacts. I wore the monthlies and I stuck them in on the 1st and didn't have to worry about them again until the 30th. They were more expensive but so worth it.
The only time I prefered glasses was when my allergies bothered me. Sometimes my eyes would tear so bad my contact would just fall out.
Depends on the conditions. But ophthalmologists themselves usually choose eyeglasses as a safer correcting method.
