Television??
Question: Television?
How many hours of Tv should a 13 year old kid with glasses watch?
And how many hours on the computer?
Thank You
Answers: coat his glasses with anti-reflective layer
allow 1-2 hours of TV
1-2 hours of computer with brief rests especially if he's playing games
try to be reasonable cutting him down , and give him something in return [ gym , books , camps ]
goood luck
I allow my teens to watch 1 hour of television (tv and/or games) and 1 hour on the computer.
Here is a link to some information that suggests 1-2 hours.

as far as his/her EYE HEALTH is concerned...there is no limit. its a myth that watching tv or using the computer somehow hurts your eyes. that is not true.
but as far as overall health and being sedentary, etc, studies show (like the other 2 posters stated) that 2 hrs is reasonable.
Im on the computer and watching tv almost ALL DAY EVERY DAY, and my eye sight is improving. But, Im sure it doesn't matter. I think it's just a myth to scare kids into not watching tv for too long...

I have read that on average, kids are spending 4-5 hours in front of a screen (be it computer or television). I don't think their eyes get hurt by it. but as people above me have said, being in front of the television all day cannot be a healthy lifestyle. You don't get much exercise that way.
only pu to 2 hours n all screens but I've been on the screen about 8 hours!, more or less. My eye sight is gettin worse.
Not more than 2 hours total without a break of at least 1 hour physical activity. Having glasses doesn't change the amount of time.
