I need to use a tampon. i have nobody to show me how to. how should i do it.??
Question: ive tried before but it hurt to much to finish it. which way do i point it and how can i get it to not hurt so much
Answers: If you are having discomfort, you should figure out if it is because of how you are trying to insert it or if your body just doesn't want it in there. You should start with the smallest tampon first; you should only try to use a tampon during your menstrual cycle. Some people find it useful to add a little bit of water-based lubricant to the tip. Remember to angle the tampon as you insert as well - it should be point towards your back at about 45 degree if you are sitting when you are inserting the tampon. Also, you may want to try different positions.
There are also medical reasons that may make it difficult for you to insert a tampon. This will depend a lot on age and sexual background. Sometimes, a woman may have a thickening of the hymen which can interfere with the insertion of the tampon. If you continue to have pain or need assistance, you should contact a nurse, a doctor, or a health clinic near you. If you go to school, you may also talk to your school nurse if you feel comfortable enough to do so.
Whatever you do, never force a tampon into yourself. This can cause infection and injury. Of course, if all else fails, there are always sanitary napkins that can be used instead.
read the directions
it shouldn't hurt you at all.. look at the instructions in the box/package..
otherwise just use a pad..
Like everything, when all else fails...read the directions!
Go to Planned Parenthood and they will help you. Its private, and its free.
Or make an appointment at your ob-gyn.
get a book from the library or go on the internet..google or something. also read the box. thats how i learned, by a book. trust me.
i agree with the directions thing. but your vagina will be pointing up and to the back.

try it. it has directions and a few pictures to show you how.just relax and stop being tense. the only pain should be fear.
Ask your gynecologist or a female doctor if the instructions on the box aren't helping you.
well if u have seen how it is done and taought well then i say go for it it s not ur fault if u get caught wicth u wont get in troble if u have to steel it from ur mom or sum thing just tell her
follow the instructions on the package insert, and keep trying until it feels comfortable. Use a slim one to start, and lubricate it at the tip if necessary. Hardly anybody gets it right the first time, so don't panic.
there should be directions on the box.. and if it hurts that bad, then maybe you shouldnt do it... it could cause you problems later on. also, it could be because of the size of it. try a smaller size if possible. hope i helped... good luck with it!
There is an instruction page in the box that will tell you step-by-step and has pictures also. I believe tampax has a website with the same information in case you don't have the package leaflet.
It should not hurt; in fact, if you're putting it in right you should hardly feel it at all. Check out the instructions for the details, but my advice is relax first of all. Put on foot up on the toilet seat and squat slightly to give you a better angle. You'll get the hang of it.
First you should read the directions and then if you dont understand the directions then you can ask someone or use a pad( even though they are extremely uncomfortable)!
stick it in, push the plunger thing all the way in, pull the plunger thing out.
read the directions on the back of the box or the packet inside.that always helps.if it still don't go right just use a pad and ask someone to show you later.
Most important RELAX and read the instructions
Bear down as in having a bowel movement and insert.
use a pad like most of us do. if you can't use a tampon w/out it hurting...then don't use one! ask your doctor to show you how or your mom. otherwise, use a pad. if you keep messing with it, you'll send your body into excessive bleeding from hitting something you shouldn't have or into shock..which i've also heard of happening.
ok its not that hard come on its called the directions on the box and if it hurts u dont use one
the box has a pretty descriptive picture on it to show you how!!!
