Is it bad to get your belly button perced when your young??

Answers: It's not necessarily bad but you should wait until you are 18 for a few reasons. First, your body needs to be mature enough to handle a peircing. 11 is a little to young to be starting body peircings. Secondly, you need to make a mature decision about this. Why do you want to get it done? Probably because everyone else is doing it and you want to look cool. That is the wrong reason. Any decision you ever make in your life needs to be for you and only you. Don't let anyone else influence your life, you only need to care about you. Sorry to go off on a tangent but I don't understand why you would want to get this done. I have 9 peircings and I waited until I was 18 or older to get them. That's what I suggest you do too. And yes it does hurt and it takes a long time to heal. You have to take care of it and clean it every day.
Of course it hurts a little bit, but for the future, you're gonna have to take it out when you get pregnant. :(

It depends on what you mean by young . In any case, the piercing itself is not necessarily bad if it is done by a professional with sterile equipment. Parents have had their infants ears pierced. However, not every type of bellybutton is piercable. You would have to see if it can even be done on you or not.
It doesn't hurt so bad. I got mine pierced when was I was 16. It felt like a shot that you would get a the doctor's office. It's real quick. Now getting your tongue pierced is a whole nother story. That hurt like hell. My tongue was hurting for a week.
I got my belly button pierced when I was 12. My sister and I did it ourselves. Now I have a permenant scar and I wish so bad I had never done it. I also did my tongue when I was 13, yes, myself. Big mistake. Not that I did it wrong, I just now have another scar I'll never get rid of. So if you're asking should I pierce my belly button my answer would be no. Because you will never be able to take back what you did, no matter how much it may bother you down the road.
