What is the best thing to do to make you feel better during a period??
Question: i try midol but it dosent always work and i try tylnole. cramps are so bad. you feel tired and moody. whats the best thing to do?
Answers: Exercise and ibuprophen. Also, calcium and magnesium taken every day decreases PMS and cramps, at menstrual time, to almost zero.
Internal Massage? j/k If it's really bothering you and midol / ibuprofen don't help then it might be time to see your doc.
being alone, I feel so annoyed when I'm on my period.
Drink a warm mug of milky tea, put a hot water bottle on your cramps (one in a fluffy cover), take the recommended dose of paracetomol and put your feet up. Then drink more milky tea.
i've heard that exercise helps (although it's the last thing you want to do when you feel like that). I've also been told to avoid fruit juice during that time of the month. My sister swears by tablets called feminax.
Good luck.
Alleve is the best for menstrual cramps, and other body aches as well. If it's super bad, call your doctor to phone in a prescription med for you.
If you're over 21, a little Blackberry Brandy may help--but never if you are taking meds.
The best thing to do is get a couple of therapeutic magnets and put them on your abdomen, this is the best thing my Aunt (who has endametrious) has found. There are also a couple of magnets that spin, one you plug in and it spins on it own and the other you roll over the area, these give quicker relief. You can find them on www.newbodybalanc.com on the buy it page.
I like to take Advil.
take bath and listen soft music
