Tampon question??

Question: okay, i get so worried that i will be one of those rare cases and get toxic shock sysdome.. so i now wear tampons 24/7 while on my period... i've gotten use to them.. anyway, what do you do to wear your tampon 24/7? like what times? like a schedule? put one in before bed, new one in the morning, one after school, etc. stuff like that.. school starts at 7:40am goes to 2:38pm.. for the info.. any help much appreticated!
Answers: It is better to use a tampoon when you are out of home.Just before you start you can wear one and go .During the first two days when your flow is more may be you need to change after four or five hours .when at home and night I feel you can switch over to pads .
Please read the instructions that come in your tampon box, it will explain everything. Above all, DO NOT leave your tampon in 24/7! Change it every few hours. Besides the risks of TSS, it's just gross!! keep it clean!!
well sweetie u r not suppose to wear your tampon 24/7. it is not good. but since i a one of those who hate pads i do wear them all the time when i am on my period as well. but at night is the only time i don't, i put a pad on the second before i go to bed. and take it of when i wake up. and for schedule wise. well it depends on the type of flow that you have. and you change accordingly. when i was in school i would change every two periods.
They should be changed every 4-8 hours. With Toxic Shock, the bigger absorbency you buy it's more likely to give you T.S.S. but...It's extremely rare.

But just in case, make sure you know the symptoms of T.S.S. and what to do about it if you have it.
Change your tampon every 4-6 hours. Sleep in a pad. You need to alternate use between the two. Also Toxic shock syndrome was mostly back in the day when tampons were made differently then they are made now. Its always a risk but not as much as it used to be.
I change mine when i feel like i need to...its good to stay clean so i would say twice a day..and u dont have to sleep with them in..just wear a pad at nite..so it will lower chances of any infections
Just change it whenever you feel necessary. Make sure to use the right absorbancy too. Don't put a super absorbancy tampon in when you only have minimal flowage just cause you want to wear it longer. Also, as for going to bed, i put a new one in right before i go to bed. I also make sure to pick a regular or light absorbancy... ever notice when you sleep on your side you don't bleed? just make sure to change regularly and use the correct asborbancy.
I changed it everytime I went to the bathroom. You can't chage them too often. I also sometimes got up in the night to change them. Leaving one in for 8 hours is really the maximum you should leave one in. You won't get toxic shock. The type that caused that has been taken off the market.
i don't think you need a schedule. just some good hygiene practice. instead of worrying about a schdule, just change your tampon everytime you use the bathroom.
During my first and second day, I change my tampon every 4 hours. I don't use it on my third day specially when I'm at home, just to let it breathe.
it depends how heavy your discharge is.....doing your cycle!!
